Wish if you could make a wish come true, if you could set a dream see the day, if you could help bring smile to a face, if you could help restore peace in a life, if you could help alleviate the pain of suffering, if you could share the days of gloom, if you could share the moments of agony, if you could help reclaim a life – it is wonderful if you extend any of this assistance to someone in need in your day to day life – it helps them as well as it helps you.
It enhances the positive in you. It solidifies your emotive quotient.
You react positively to the life irrespective of the colour of life, independent of the shades of the moment.
You sleep peacefully when you see your cause through.
It makes your sphere of life a better place to live. It makes you a better human being.
But remember, never look down upon them who come across you and seek your help. Also, never help them because it lets you feel superior. That is a fallacy that is bound to come down, today or tomorrow and the sentimental repercussions could send you into depression.
Instead, you should feel thankful that life gave you a chance to realise the opportunity to contribute for your living here. Everyone gets this opportunity. Many of us don’t realise when they can matter or their ignorance deprives them of it.
Helping others in need should be driven by the inner urge of belief in the principle of co-existence that should further push you to feel dutiful to extend whatever possible assistance you could extend to the people in need who come across you.
Helping others in need multiplies the joy of life when you are going through a good phase of living. It helps you fight escapism and darkness when you find your life in clutches of negativities, internal and external.
Feel dutiful to help those who are in need. It purifies your soul. It validates your existence.
Be thankful to them that they became the cause to help you realise the good in you.
