LET’S GO BEYOND THAT CLICHÉ

Let’s begin on something
With newness in the air
Let’s go beyond mere saying
That every day is a new day
Yes, it’s a new you every day
But aren’t you trapped
In a living that makes it
Nothing but a cliché
When was the last time?
When you had run wild,
Without calculations
The feeling so thrilled
As if it was the first blood
For you on the highway
With many first tastes
As you cruised along
When was the last sunrise?
That romantically called you,
For the next sunset
With love in the air
Be it a blue moon sky
Or a blazing sun’s gun
Let’s begin on something
As pure as the first quest
With heat of first adventure
Let’s go beyond that cliché
To reinvent you
To find ‘you’ you thought of
When platonic was the air
And sky was the flair
Listen to that call to go wild
It’s always there
Just look at it, anew
Put aside life’s ifs and buts
And follow your instinct
To make it your day
Beyond this borrowed life
Of words and beyond
For a new you
Who was always with you,
It’s just that,
You miscalculated him out..

WHY ‘SEVERALLY ALONE’?

On domain name of my first blog – Beyond This Life – http://severallyalone.blogspot.in/

Questions and observations on ‘severally alone’ were always misplaced, unlike the ones on ‘Beyond This Life’ that had fair share of sincere observations too.

Observations like ‘severally alone or severely alone’ or ‘alone’s’ existence with the word ‘severally’ or ‘severely’ (for the whacky fellows), two words capable of greatly enhancing the effect (negative or positive) of the dependent word (in this case ‘alone’) producing highly innovative or highly routine explanations (in the mind of the person putting the question), were quite a matter of fun to listen to.

Yes, I never bothered my grey-matter to explain it to them (the whacky fellows). Those who could understand it got it in one go.

But I should say ‘severally alone’ did raise quite a steady flow of observations and questions.

Those who sounded serious in their observations and methodical in their questions, who well understood the etymological and practical differences between ‘being alone’ and ‘being lonely’, but still had no clear thoughts about what being ‘severally alone’ meant, I did explain the Kabir’s philosophy to them.

Yes, ‘severally alone’ in domain name of my first blog came from the teachings and philosophy of the 14-15th Century mystic poet and saint of Varanasi whose birth place and the shrine is very near to my house in Lord Shiva’s eternal city.

After doing my bit of explaining it to the people who deserved an explanation, to make things easier, for me as well as for my readers, I put a brief paragraph on top of my blog (Beyond This Life) on what ‘being severally alone’ meant’.

The way I see it from Kabir’s philosophy, here it is:

The best way to know the self is feeling oneself at the moments of reckoning. The feeling of being alone, just with your senses, may lead you to think more consciously. More and more of such moments may sensitize ‘you towards you’, towards others. We become regular with introspection and retrospection. We get ‘the’ gradual connect to the higher self we may name Spirituality or God or just a Humane Conscious. We tend to get a rhythm again in life. We need to learn the art of being lonely in crowd while being part of the crowd. A multitude of loneliness in mosaic of relations! One needs to feel it severally, with conscience, before making it a way of life. One needs to live several such lonely moments. One needs to live severallyalone.

And it has been pretty good since then. Observations and questions are still there but those who still ask in spite of my blog page explaining it clearly are very few.

For those, who know me and want to draw sadistic pleasure by linking ‘severally alone in blog’s domain name’ with some ‘victim of life’s tragedies’ sort of connotation, who has time even to think about them!

WHY ‘BEYOND THIS LIFE’?

On name of my first blog – Beyond This Life – http://severallyalone.blogspot.in/

Okay, there were questions, curious ones and the ridiculing ones, too. A blog, by its origin is a personal platform for personal expressions – individualized – thought, contextualized and expressed on ‘individualist’ ethos.

‘Beyond This Life’, my first blog where I started posting with my first post ‘Inhuman Humanity’ on July 1, 2009, had readers asking questions on why this name, people from among my contacts and from some of the readers visiting my blog.

There were observations like it sounded too ‘philosophical’ or ‘spiritual’ and those who knew me were quite convinced of this that it indeed was a blog of such expressions only.

I didn’t think who said what or who thought what. Yes, I did answer some, but they were just very few.

Such observations are still made. People still ask me why this name.

For me, it was my personal space to express my views on anything that pushed me to think that I needed to be expressive there.

Yes, it has my expressions aligned on philosophical and spiritual questions, but it also has a major share of social, political and observational themes.

Yes, it was certainly not about my personal life. It was for, to go beyond this life, my life. It was for me on life beyond my personal life. But naturally, it has had reflections ‘of the way I am’.

And, it has been this way – an idea, developed to this blogging platform, where I share my views on happenings in the world, around me, and ‘beyond around me’ – where I share a part of my creative urge – to write something meaningful – to click something meaningful – to create something meaningful.

From inside of me – from this life – to go – Beyond This Life!

Then there were questions and observations on my first blog’s domain name that contains ‘severally alone’. (https://santoshchaubey.wordpress.com/2014/01/04/why-severally-alone/)

..of a journey that began on July 1, 2009, with my first blogpost on my first blog, Beyond This Life, and is to continue adding to its over 1100 posts..

Write-ups – on real life incidents and experiences – on observational learning circumstances

..write-ups on anything that clicks on a day to inspire to write..
With,

Poetry – mostly in English, sometimes in Hindi – on life – on shades of life – on human emotions – on life experiences

Photography – human emotions and expressions – life experiences – nature’s – landscape – travel

Quotes – my reflections on life and things beyond life

Paintings (my sister’s) – some of them are on my blog – Digital – Mix Media – photographs of canvas paintings

Now, in fifth year, the consistency of over two years on the journey is more about being disciplined; it is about drawing the satisfaction from that discipline of creating something regularly, day after day, in those 60-90 minutes (extended sometimes), than merely filling my blog with ‘anything’ on every passing calendar day just to maintain the count.

And the discipline, and the satisfaction of being able to create a work, asks for more, rightly and rightfully.

And it is to go on.

LIFE & YOU

LIFE & YOU

LIFE & YOU,
“It’s up to you to remain a mute spectator in the name of destiny or so,
living and leading a subservient lifestyle, or taking on it head on, with a vengeance,
with your emotional fury, with unwavering confidence of Being You,
to tell life that let’s settle scores,
to become contemporaries with mutual respect for each other.”

The Diehard Individualist-

DO SO TO GET THE MAXIMUM FOR YOU..

We come and we go.
We are creation of this flow.
Not entitled to stay forever.
We don’t desire to live forever.
Do the maximum that you can do.
Do so to get the maximum for you.
That is a way to look at life.
That is the way to look at life.
Pain,
That we have so often.
Happiness,
That we don’t have so often.
But,
Peace can always be a trusted decision.
We come here to go.
We have so been made part of this flow.
Pain and happiness they come and go.
Don’t cling to any and get the blow.
Life is never in extremes.
So stop taking extreme positions.
Its grey is never absolute.
So stop blaming your dispositions.
Do the maximum that you can do.
Do so to get the maximum for you.
That is the way to look at life.
Don’t fear the death.
It is only the finality.
It is the only finality.
Live your life with this sanctity.
Make tomorrow your today.
Make today your day.
Nothing lasts forever in this flow.
Everyone comes here to go.
Make your life go as you do.
Be at peace when it’s through.

“WOH JISM HI KYA JO IS MAY KI JUSTAJOO MEIN ROOH NA HO JAAYE”

What is that body that doesn’t become the soul in the quest of that intoxication”

“FOR I FEEL FOR..”

“For I feel for I happened to be someone”
“For I felt I was not that one”
“For I felt I was not who I was”
“For I feel I am who I am”
“For I felt I needed to be someone”
“For I feel I will be someone”

“For I feel I have denied the moments their right to play with me”
“For I feel they still feel they can play with me but..”
“For I feel I feel their despair to loose the winning vein”

“For I feel for the rustles in the layers”
“For I feel for the layers to be living vague identities”
“For I feel for identities that struggle”
“For I feel for struggles more numerous than others..”
“For I feel for that anxious urge of identities to come alone, to go along”
“For I feel for this stasis and resurrection of layers to bind their identities”
“For I feel for this urge of layers to be one in harmony with all the parallelism”

“For I feel for what I felt for who I was,
“For I feel for that co-existence with that subtle parallelism”
“For I feel for that forgotten aspect added to my thoughts”
“For I feel for my Soul to be there for this”
“For I feel for my Soul to be with me”
“For I feel for the urge of rustling layers to be one with..
..to be one with the splutter of the raining beads of thoughts”
“For I feel for I need to feel what I felt”
