A FACE SO CHARMING, A SMILE SO WARMING

Creation can be felt in different ways
And happiness is a way to look at it
Driven by the events in the moments
When we feel content with the flow
And want to live the moment forever
Living in today
And feeling it in every tomorrow
Creation speaks through that innocent face
That opened its eyes this morning
Staring at faces and colours around him
As if looking around to know his new home
As if trying to read the spaces around
His cry says all, his smile says all
Even if a word is not spoken
And the feeling is mutual, shared by all
Creation always conveys it’s elements to us
And a child’s birth is its purest moment
It wraps us in its joy
To pull us back from the forgotten feelings
It calls us back
Into a world that is somehow ours as well
With a charming face, with a warming smile
It tells us to come together and celebrate
What we don’t appreciate anymore
A life lived in now, a life built on this now
A newborn creates a spell around us
It asks us to live in the moment
Forgetting the ‘ifs’ of tomorrow
With a smiling face, with inquisitive eyes
It reminds us again the purity of innocence
That the world so easily forgets in its created ‘realities’

THE END’S RELEVANCE LIES IN ITS IRRELEVANCE

My reflections on life – in quotes

“The end is as near as the next breath.
Yet, its relevance lies in irrelevance of that ‘next’.
The end is always privy to its beginning.
Yet it doesn’t seek its ‘being’ in that ‘next’.
The end begins, some day, with that ‘next’ written.
Yet it finds its relevance rooted in ‘now’.”

FOR AN ENLIVENED TODAY..

The wind gushes
Passes by me,
Touching my senses
As I begin,
A new journey
On yet another,
New Day,
With,
A renewed vigour
And with,
A refreshing rigour
With,
The breeze of Yesterday
Staying back
As my beloved
Caressing me
For an enlivened Today

YET THE HARMONY OF BEING ONE WITH MEMORIES..

It was all but existent yet the harmony of being one with memories was all over his soul; was clearly visible in his thoughts.

There was the sense of loss that could never be compensated.

There was the absence of the person in him that still haunted.

There was the presence of the void in him that still talked to him.

There was this channel of conversation that still flowed through.

There was this sense of being incomplete that still left its imprint.

There was this hollowness that still sought answers, again and again.

But,

There was now this feeling of being at one with the presence of memories.

There was now this satisfaction that rendered the questioning not so desperate.

There was now the presence of his ‘Self’ within his ‘Soul’ once more to guide him.

There was now the channel of communication with Absence in the moments of longing.

There was now this sense of being on the journey to become what he needed to be.

There was now this completeness in his thoughts that it used to be when he had begun.

It is non-existent, still he feels it moving inside him, day after day, taken over by ‘their’ thoughts, sustained by the moments that were so few to count yet so deep to scale, driven by an identity that could find its ‘Self’ back.

THE MUNDANE

Looking off the window,
Talking to the distant thoughts,
Eyes fixed far in the absence,
As it is has become so everyday,
Like this moment,
As was the other day,
Reminding the windows,
The mundane opens in the life

Looking off the window,
I see the mundane on the go,
I read its presence,
As I did the last day,
As I get it into the moment now,
Telling me the other side of life,
The mundane so naturally builds,
For us to remain us, men of this world

Looking on the window,
Trying having sensed the expanse,
Looking to feel again,
As if I’ve travelled the distance,
To be one with my that ‘Self’,
When the mundane ‘Self’ sounds arguing,
Like it happens sometimes,
Pushing me to look inside the window

Looking on the window,
I dig down deeper as thoughts converse,
Not knowing the abyss of the creeper,
Nerves seem to cry from beneath,
Recollections flash upon that inward eye,
Reflections reconcile for that soliloquy,
When the calm feels vacant and pensive,
When solipsism gets talking and restive

EVERY COMING DAY IS AN OPPORTUNITY

Every coming days is an opportunity. You may feel it to be similar to what it was yesterday. It may follow the routine that you followed on the passing day. Alternatively, it may take a different approach from what happened yesterday. It may throw surprises that you thought were not going to happen to you.

Every coming day, your today, may bring thoughts and events on these lines but the fact remains there, to be seen, telling you clearly that it’s a new day with new possibilities that you need to realize. Every coming day gives you an empty space to fill it with your colours, an empty slate to write on it the elements of your own making.

Your today, the every coming day in your life, is a mix bag of possibilities existing along with the uncertainty of a tomorrow that is going to be your next today.

Travelling along day by day with this uncertainty of tomorrow, the only certain element that you have is you; your awareness of you; your companionship with you; and your confidence in you.

You have what it takes to make an uncertain tomorrow to a today of feasible possibilities.

Every coming day is an opportunity for you to revisit you to realize the never-ending and newer shades of life that we come across but don’t notice or fail to notice.

Every coming day, that is your today, is a testimony to how you look at life, whether you move ahead to build further on what you were working on yesterday; whether you begin something new, constructive; whether you decide to cut the restrictive line shorter to make it disappear finally by start drawing a new line longer and reflective of you; whether you realize that what you have is only the coming day, your today, that your yesterday is gone, that the tomorrow is not yet here.

Life gives us a chance every day, to strengthen us, to reinvent us, to know us more the every coming day.

Isn’t it beautiful?

Yet..why do we fail to appreciate it?

EVERY COMING DAY IS A MEASURE OF YOU

“Every coming day is a testimony of you, of you being ‘you’ – how do you look at life today to make sense of what it was yesterday..

..whether you move forward to build further on something you built yesterday..
..whether you realize and work to make the line disappear or shorter, the line that was dragging you back yesterday..
..whether you realize that every day is a new day bringing with it new possibilities..
..whether you realize that making sense of each passing day is a positive way to build a life..

OR,

..whether you don’t realize or choose to ignore and waste the opportunity that the every coming day is for you..
..how do you get along with every coming day, how do you make sense of your every ‘today’, is thus a measure of you, of you being ‘you’.”
